I have a career in human resources that spans more than 20 years. In addition to my career in human resources, I am the owner of MORR Consulting Group, LLC.

I have been a human resources manager for 10 years in a large, complex environment. In this role, I provide direct human resources support in all areas of the employee life cycle. Prior to being a human resources manager, I was employed as the learning and development specialist for a human resources department in higher education. Simply stated, I translated business needs
into learning designs that aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.

I am a graduate of Mississippi State University with a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Management. I also hold a Master’s degree in Workforce Education Leadership and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration, also from MSU.

Demonstrating my commitment to excellence, I am certified by HRCI for the Professional in
Human Resources (PHR) Certification and the Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Additionally, I am a certified facilitator for the Real Colors Personality Instrument.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I actively contribute to my community and alma mater. As an active member of my local alumni chapter and the MSU Alumni Association – National Board of Directors, I foster connections and support fellow alumni. I also serve MSU Black Alumni Advisory Council. I also serve as the college relations director for the Mississippi State
Council of the Society of Human Resources Management.
